Workshops

The Library Community of Practice Reading club is an online reading club that takes places every other month. It consists of discussions via a thread in the Library Teaching Team Community of Practice channel and a synchronous online meeting. Each thread and meeting will focus on one topic of conversation around an academic paper, video, blog post or other prompt. These topics will actively seek out underrepresented voices and perspectives. Topics and prompts can be suggested here: Suggestion Form

Reflection sessions will be opportunities for all the participants to reflect upon their individual practice and wider sector ideas. They take place every other month alternating between asynchronous and on campus sessions. Sessions will include initial reflective prompts to spark both individual and group work and discussion as a wider community around teaching and learning: including AdvanceHE Fellowships, academic papers, presentations and development in teaching practice and pedagogy. We will work together to collect, reflect on and articulate our work, both practical and theoretical.
