#UoMLibraryLife Instagram contest - January 2020
How to enter:
- Share an original photo or video on Instagram showing us how you feel once you’ve finished your exams. The more creative your entry is, the more chance you’ll have of winning.
- Tag us @UoMLibrary, include the hashtag #UoMLibraryLife in your post and make sure your account is set to public.
- Follow @UoMLibrary and wait to hear if your image has won the contest.
Participants must share their original photo from their own Instagram account between Wednesday 22 January 2020 and 23:59 on Tuesday 28 January 2020. Postings made after 23:59 on Tuesday 28 January 2020 will not be considered.
The winner will selected by the Library Marketing Team and will be notified by Instagram direct message on Thursday, 30 January 2020. Entries will be judged based on how creative, unique or humorous they are.
The winning entry will be awarded an Amazon Fire 7 tablet (16 gb model) and £40 Amazon voucher which must be collected from Main Library within 30 days of being contacted by the Library. The winner will be asked to show their University ID card for proof of eligibility.
The winner must be the owner of the social media account from which the selected winning entry is sent and the winning entry must be an original image captured by the owner of the account.
The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and not redeemable for cash or any other prize.
The Library accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the prize that are not expressly included in the prize.
The University shall use and take care of any personal information you supply to it as described in its data protection policy, a copy of which can be seen at https://www.manchester.ac.uk/discover/privacy-information/data-protection/privacy-notices/, and in accordance with data protection legislation. By entering the competition, you agree to the collection, retention, usage and distribution of your personal information in order to process and contact you about your competition entry. You also agree that the Library may share your image or video on any of their digital channels (social media, website, digital signage). You further agree that you have obtained the consent of any third parties who appear on the photo or video for their image to be used in the competition.
Students and staff are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entering the competition.
The Library reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its reasonable control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of the Library in all matters relating to the competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
