Let's talk about your writing! What are you finding difficult? How can you apply your feedback? Would you like to develop your strengths? We understand that good writers are made, not born. Our one-to-one tutorials are tailored to your needs and designed to help you both discover and communicate your ideas.  

If you would like support to improve your academic writing, you can book a one-to-one appointment for an on-campus or online consultation with our Fellows. Joe is available on Monday and Tuesday and Carys is available on Thursday and Friday. You can book an appointment by emailing:

They can also help if you'd just like to talk through specific problems relating to your work.  

What to expect 

  • A one-to-one tutorial, lasting approximately 50 minutes.
  • Advice unique to your specific requirements.
  • Complete confidentiality.
