Imaging services

The Library has an ambitious digitisation programme to inspire and support research, teaching and learning and public engagement activity.

Our highly skilled photographers have significant experience of imaging rare books, manuscripts, archives, visual materials and 3D objects.

Images are professionally captured at very high resolutions, using leading-edge cameras and equipment.

Special Collections imaging staff are also at the forefront of supporting Digital Scholarship through advanced imaging techniques, including multi-spectral imaging.
