The Stopford Library holds major collections in biology, medicine and health and is located on the 3rd floor of Stopford Building.
This Library building remains closed for now.

Collections and Resources
The Library holds core texts and also other recommended reading for first and second year students in the schools of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy. We also hold recommended reading for students in the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health.
We have ten sets of half skeletons, a small anatomy DVD collection and several anatomical models which are all available for loan.
Group study rooms
There are six group study rooms in the Stopford Library.
- Each room can be used in a booked session by a minimum of two and a maximum of 14 people.
- The rooms are furnished with a large table and 14 chairs, a 32 inch LCD monitor and a large "squiggle" board.
- Pens and board wipes are provided. Laptops can be plugged in to the monitor.
- Room bookings are available during normal Library opening hours.

IT and copying facilities
The Stopford Library provides access to 12 quick-use PCs and two multi-function devices (one colour and one black and white). The Library also holds two iPads which are available for loan.
