Ely Devons (1913-1967) was a British economist, noted for his work on economic forecasting and statistics. He was Professor of Applied Economics at the University of Manchester from 1948 until 1959, when he moved to the London School of Economics.

The archive includes Devons’s correspondence with fellow economist and civil servant, Sir Alec Cairncross (1911-1998), relating to economic issues and other professional matters.
