Fifteen items on paper, of which Tibetan MSS 1-6 were purchased in 1901 with the Crawford collection, the remainder being acquired subsequently from various sources.
Tibetan MS 6 comprises two sandalwood book covers, with inscriptions in Chinese, Mongolian and Sanskrit and six coloured miniatures. Tibetan MS 14 consists of ritual texts of the bon.po sect, the pre-Buddhist religion of Tibet, with sheets of drawings of ritual objects and human figures. The collection includes other ritual texts and prayer-wheels.
