Books from the library of Richard F. Stewart (1936-2009), bequeathed in 2009. Stewart was the author of End Game: A Survey of Selected Writings about ‘The Mystery of Edwin Drood’ by Charles Dickens (1999).

There are numerous editions, mainly in English, of Charles Dickens’s last novel, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, which remained unfinished upon his death in 1870. Secondary works represented include continuations and solutions to the mystery, plus adaptations and commentaries. There are a few additional titles by or relating to Dickens.
