The Church of Ireland diocese of Clogher straddles the border between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. It is probably unique in having two cathedrals, at Clogher and Enniskillen.

The collection was acquired in September 1953, when the Church of Ireland diocesan library was dispersed. The items date from 1531 to 1884, with 176 pre-1700 titles and nearly all the remainder dating from the 18th century. They are chiefly sermons and other theological works, with a high proportion printed in Dublin or otherwise of Irish interest.
