The Ahmed Iqbal Ullah RACE Centre is an open access library specialising in the study of race, ethnicity, migration and the fight for social justice.
Our holdings are unique in sharing the histories of global majority communities in the UK. As a library which tells community stories, we are located in Manchester Central Library, right in the heart of the city, where we're accessible to everybody.
The Library is open any time that Central Library is open and our enquiry desk is staffed on weekdays. Study spaces are available for you to use and Central Library has WiFi so you can bring your own device and get connected.
