The Royal Photographic Society Award-winning Café Royal Books is the creation of artist and lecturer Craig Atkinson. Based in the Northwest, it is a family-run publisher of independent and affordable photo books.
The booklets are predominantly focussed on documentary photography, highlighting social, historical and cultural change in Britain and Ireland.
Photographers represented in the publications include: Daniel Meadows, Richard Davis, Roger Taylor, Shirley Baker, Martin Parr, Dorothy Bohm, Ian Beesley, Don Tonge, Craig Atkinson and many others.
