Manchester eScholar has been replaced with a new Research Information Management System called Pure. To find out more, visit the Pure support website, or to search and browse the University’s research outputs visit the new Research Explorer.
If you have had a journal or conference paper accepted after 1 April 2016 then you should deposit your Author Accepted Manuscript (AAM) via the Library’s Open Access Gateway. The Library will then deposit the paper to Pure on your behalf and ensure it meets HEFCE’s new Open Access requirements for the next REF.
It was still possible from April 2016 until June 2017 to create or edit research data records via the My eScholar account. However, as from 21 June 2017, it is no longer possible to deposit research data in Manchester eScholar. As explained on the Library's Research Data Management pages, the University's first recommendation as a non-discipline-specific repository is now the Mendeley Data repository.
Support and guidance related to electronic theses is available on the Library’s Electronic Theses web pages.
