Wed 30 Mar 2022, 10:00 - 11:30 BST (GMT+1)

SAGE Publisher Session

This workshop will equip you with a fundamental understanding of the publishing process, and what journal editors are looking for when reviewing and accepting academic papers. By exploring the key stages step-by-step, this session will help you identify your personal areas of focus as you work towards publishing your original research. By the end of this session, you will be able to:

  • Recognise the key stages of the publication process
  • Apply a number of criteria to identify potential journals for research submission
  • Identify 3-5 keywords to optimise the eventual discoverability of your paper
  • Locate useful resources in the SAGE Research Methods database to help you further develop your publication skillset

Before attending this workshop, please watch this short tutorial about the SAGE Research Methods database, which we will explore together during the session.
