  • Cathedral Libraries Catalogue – a catalogue of books printed before 1701 in the libraries of the Anglican cathedrals of England and Wales; including a list of Latin names of printing towns.
  • Book History Online – a database in English on the history of the printed book and libraries, containing titles of books and articles on the history of the printed book worldwide. 
  • British Book Trade Index – index of the names and brief biographical details and trade details of people who worked in the book trade in England and Wales and who were trading by 1851; maintained at the University of Birmingham. 
  • Library Hub Discover - a search engine developed by Jisc, based on the NBK (National Bibliographic Knowledgebase). It replaces COPAC and Suncat.
  • Rare Books Resources on the British Library website: a list of useful internet resources including BL guides and catalogues, links to rare book libraries and organisations. 
  • Incunabula Short Title Catalogue – ISTC is the international database of 15th-century European printing, recording almost 30,000 editions printed from movable type before 1501, but not material printed entirely from woodblocks or engraved plates.
