Study spaces are in high demand. If you can’t make your booking, please cancel using the link in your confirmation email. 35% of study space slots went unused last week because people didn’t show up.
There are over 1100 bookable study spaces available at Library sites.

In addition to study spaces in libraries, other spaces are available on campus:
Accessible Equipment Rooms
Accessible Equipment Rooms are available to use in Main Library and the Alan Gilbert Learning Commons.
These rooms are available to book for students who have been given access to them by the University's Disability and Advisory Support Service.
Study spaces for interactive online learning
You can book an individual study space at the Alan Gilbert Learning Commons if you need to talk while learning online, eg during online seminars or video calls.
University teaching rooms
You can also book a University teaching room to study between your timetabled teaching sessions through ResourceBooker. You can use a room you have booked with your friends, however you must not exceed the stated capacity and you must follow social distancing rules.
Each Faculty also has its own local spaces. These will have been communicated to you directly.
Online study sessions
Looking to connect with your peers online while you study? Book one of our online study sessions, run by the Library on Zoom. You can choose to join an environment that suits you (quiet study, silent study or break space), and you’ll have the opportunity to ask Library staff questions while you’re working. Sessions run twice a day on Tuesdays and Thursdays (9am to 12.30pm and 1pm to 4.30pm).
Visit the IT Services website for information about the University's PC Clusters and connecting to PC clusters remotely.
