Main Library zoning

Zoning

The Main Library provides over 2,000 study spaces. There are two categories of study space: the Individual Study Zone and the Group Study Zone - each having their own 'code of conduct'.

There is a cafe on the ground floor which serves hot drinks, soup and cold snacks.

Customers who use any of the facilities within the library are expected to comply both with a general 'code of considerate behaviour' and the rules applying to the particular zone they are working in.

Any customer whose behaviour is deemed unacceptable by a member of library staff may be asked to leave. He or she will only be admitted again the following day.
