Drop everything and...
Are you prone to procrastination? Got an assignment coming up and really need to get started? This session is designed to create a friendly and focused environment that motivates you to study without distractions (alongside other focused students). Just come prepared with work to do, you can bring a laptop or use one of ours.
How is the session structured?
There will be 10 minutes at the beginning to grab a drink and get comfortable. Then we will start the timer, and you will have 30 minutes to give your work your full attention. Every half an hour you will be encouraged to take a 10-minute break during which the Library's Student Team will be on hand to chat, offer general advice or recommend new strategies and techniques to help with your studies.
