How can I structure my literature review? How do I save my searches? Where can I find help on referencing? Ask us in our new online drop-ins.
Have you got a burning question that you need a quick answer to?
Something like this:
- How can I structure my literature review?
- Can you recommend a strategy for taking notes?
- How do I save my searches?
- Where can I find help on referencing?
We can help!
The My Learning Essentials drop-ins give you the opportunity to ask that question and find a solution. If we can’t answer your question, we’ll find someone who can!
These are quick informal sessions, so you don’t need to book a place. They can get busy though (especially at the beginning of semester) so you may have to wait a little while, but we’ll answer your question as soon as possible.
Currently, drop ins take place on Wednesdays, 12noon - 1pm, in the Alan Gilbert Learning Commons Training Room.
We aim to answer as many queries as we can in the allocated hour. If you have a complex question that we can’t answer quickly, we’ll get back to you after the session with a comprehensive response.
The drop-ins are open to all University of Manchester staff and students.
