Find a PC
Finding a PC during exams can be a real frustration. We’re hoping to make it easier for you by providing 'PC availability' real-time displays on Blue Ground near the bottom of the escalator in Main Library, and in the main entrance of the AGLC.
We've put together a webpage that will show you availability for PC clusters around central campus.
You can view availability for all the University's PC Clusters and more information online on the IT Services' website.
You’ll know quickly and accurately where the nearest available PCs are, meaning you can spend less time searching and more time working.
PC cluster availability can also be viewed through the University mobile app 'iManchester' which is available for Android and Apple devices and can be downloaded for free.

iPad and laptop loans
Our iPads come loaded with useful apps and our laptops offer convenient, portable access to key University services such as:
- Microsoft Office applications
- eduroam WiFi
- P: drive storage
- wireless printing
They can be loaned from the Main Library and Alan Gilbert Learning Commons and can provide a quick solution to get a couple of hours' work done without having to find space in a PC cluster.
