Postgraduate Research: Understanding what to expect

Tue 10 Oct 2017, 14:00 - 16:00
Main Library, Ground Floor Seminar Room
Hosted by Nicola Grayson

Workshop

This workshop will introduce you to the key stages postgraduate researchers undergo in respect to a large research project. The objective is to illustrate the common challenges faced at the start of the project, as you progress with your writing, and once you reach the final stages of your work. The workshop will present postgraduate study as a process that can be universalised but has personal impact and you will work with others (who are interested in or currently engaged in postgraduate study) to map the relevant support available to you.

The workshop presents an opportunity for you to connect with others in the postgraduate community, it will showcase the wealth of support and resources you might access and it presents an opportunity to express any concerns you may have about making and managing this transition.
