George Tindale (1792-1825)
George Tindale of the Leeds circuit was recommended for the itinerancy in 1814. At the time of his candidature, he had taken some steps toward marriage but promised to remain single until after his probation. He exercised an active circuit ministry until his death following an attack of paralysis while speaking at a missionary meeting in Derby. Tindale had been unwell for some time.
