Catherine O'Bryan (fl.1831)

Catherine O'Bryan was the wife of William O'Bryan, founder of the Bible Christian Connexion. Born in Cornwall as Catherine Cowlin, like her future husband she was of Anglican/Methodist parentage and was devoted to the work of the Bible Christian Church, of which she was one of the first female preachers.

In 1831 she moved with her husband to the United States and spent the rest of her life in New York.
