Susanna Blanshard (1764-1820)
Susanna Blanshard was born in Louth, Lincolnshire. Her maiden name and details of her early life are unknown. She was married to the Wesleyan itinerant Thomas Blanshard, who served as book steward from 1808. Susanna dropped dead from fear in February 1820 after a fire broke out in the middle of the night at the Book Room in City Road, London, where the couple had their lodgings. She was buried at City Road Chapel.
