Bloomberg is a financial database platform which provides access to Equities, Commodities, Foreign Exchange and Price Indices data, for example. In addition, there are Charts, News Service and comprehensive Help features.
Access to Bloomberg Professional
Bloomberg is available in both the Eddie Davies Library and the Precinct Library to current students and staff of the University only. See below for available options
- Eddie Davies Library Bloomberg Suite: Five terminals are located in the new 'Bloomberg Suite'. These can be used at any time the library is open by current students and staff of the University of Manchester, with no booking required - all terminals are logged in and ready to use.
- Eddie Davies Library Finance Zone: Three terminals are located in the Finance Zone and are bookable online by students (not staff) via My Manchester. Select 'My Library', 'Room Booking', Finance Zone PC1, PC2 or PC3. Each booking slot is 2 hours per group/individual per day.
- Precinct Library: One terminal is available and can be booked. Ask at the Information Desk or tel. 0161 306 3200
