John Wilshaw (d.1818)

John Wilshaw was a native of the Leek circuit in Staffordshire. He entered the itinerancy in 1773 and travelled until 1776. He re-entered in 1788 and then travelled in English circuits until superannuation in 1809.

He settled in Leek, Staffordshire, where he died on July 27th 1818.

His Conference obituary states that he was an eccentric but that his ministry was generally useful.
