Christopher Watkins (1750-1805)

Christopher Watkins entered the Wesleyan itinerancy in 1768. His first two years were spent in Ireland, possibily indicating that he was Irish by birth. From 1770 he was stationed in a number of circuits in England, Wales and Scotland. Watkins superannuated because of poor health in 1791 and according to his conference obituary 'laboured under some severe afflictions for many years'. His retirement was spent in Taunton.
