Ann Walker (d.1787)

Ann Walker was a resident of Leeds in Yorkshire. The account of her death in the Arminian Magazine contains no information about her early life, although she must have been married at least once before as she is also referred to as Mrs Clapham. She was married at the time of her death to Robert Walker of Leeds and there were eight children, although whether they were the offspring of that marriage or an earlier one is not specified.

Walker was closely involved with Yorkshire Methodism for many years and appears to have been a part of the circle surrounding the Ritchies of Otley. She served as a class leader and appears to have been very well regarded.

She died on March 29th 1787 after an illness that lasted for several weeks.
