John Brown Tapp (1805-76)

John Brown Tapp was born in Kingsbridge, Devon. Raised in the Wesleyan Methodist Church, he entered the Bible Christian ministry in 1829 and joined the mission to Canada in 1844. He served as President of the Canadian Conference in 1855.
