George Snowden (1737-1812)

George Snowden entered the itinerancy in 1769 and spent the first fifteen years of his ministry in Ireland, indicating that he may have been an Irishman by birth. In 1775 he removed to England where he exercised an active circuit ministry until superannuation in 1808. He spent his retirement in Macclesfield.
