John Simpson junior (1777-1841)

John Simpson junior was born at Holbeck near Leeds in Yorkshire. He entered the Wesleyan itinerancy in 1806 and laboured mainly in the northwest and southwest until superannuation in 1838 after being affected by slight paralysis. He retired to Leeds where his health progressively declined.
