Irving Scott (b.1901)

Irving Scott was born in Macclesfield, Cheshire. He trained for the United Methodist ministry at Victoria Park College in Manchester and was appointed to the overseas missions in 1924.

Scott served as a missionary in China until 1938 with the exception of one year spent in the Faversham circuit.

He spent the war years as a circuit minister in England before returning to China in 1946 for a further three years.

After the Communist victory in the Chinese civil war, Scott returned to the English circuit ministry and disappeared from the record in 1974.
