Anna Maria Plowden (fl.1790-1830)

Anna Maria Plowden was the daughter of Robert Burton of Longnor in Shropshire and the wife of Edmund Plowden (d.1838). The Plowdens were a very long-established Shropshire gentry family resident at Plowden Hall. Anna Maria's daughter, also called Anna Maria (d.1825), was the wife of the evangelical Vicar of Wellington John Eyton (1779-1823), a close friend of Mary Fletcher and Mary Tooth.

Anna Maria senior was also a correspondent of Mary Tooth and was known to Mary Fletcher.
