John Owen (fl.1773)

John Owen was an ordained Anglican clergyman who attended John Wesley's preaching at Gwennal Pit in Cornwall in August 1773 and subsequently wrote an account of it to the Wesleyan itinerant Joseph Benson. It is suggested that he accompanied Wesley during that journey, but there is no mention of him in Wesley's journal.
