William Naylor (1782-1868)

William Naylor entered the Wesleyan ministry in 1802 and was one of the founders of the Missionary Society. His active circuit ministry lasted until 1862 when he retired as a supernumary minister to Manchester and then Wednesbury. At the time of his death, Naylor was the oldest minister in the Connexion.
