Samuel Henry Morton (1831-1891)

Samuel Henry Morton was born in Salford and was a member of the Gravel Lane Society. He commenced training for the ministry at Richmond in 1852 and entered the itinerancy three years later. His circuit ministry lasted until 1890 when declining health forced him to superannuate. He died in Blackpool in September 1891 shortly after attending the Nottingham Conference.
