Stephen Lushington (b.1709)

Stephen Lushington was the son of Stephen and Jane Lushington of Sittingbourne, Kent.

Lushington was a contemporary of Charles Wesley at both Westminster School and Christ Church Oxford and is referred to in Charles' correspondence. 

He graduated M.A. in 1733 but appears to have died soon after. Lushinton's nephew Stephen by his brother Henry, became Chairman of the East India Company and was given a baronetcy in 1791.
