George Lowe (1750-1839)

George Lowe entered the itinerancy in 1788 and exercised an active circuit ministry in the north of England until 1801 when he was compelled to withdraw through ill health. He rejoined in 1802 and continued until superannuation in 1808.

He retired first to Shrewsbury and then to Congleton in Derbyshire to be near his daughter Mrs Swindells of Shrigley. Lowe died in Congleton after a long illness.
