John Langshaw junior (b.?1763)

John Langshaw junior was educated chiefly in Lancaster where his father was the organist at the parish church. In 1779 he went to London where he studied the organ under Charles Wesley junior. He succeeded his father at Lancaster in 1798 and frequently gave concerts of piano music.

Langshaw also published many compositions for the church.
