William Jackson (1789-1863)

William Jackson was coverted in York under the ministry of Joseph Taylor senior. He entered the Wesleyan ministry in 1811 and exercised an active circuit ministry until superannuation in 1854. He retired to Preston in Lancashire where for the last three years of his life, he acted as voluntary chaplain of the Workhouse.
