Thomas Greenwood (1763-1811)

Thomas Greenwood of West Hackney, London, was the son of the upholsterer Charles Greenwood (1725-83), an early member of the Foundry Society and a trustee of City Road Chapel.

John Wesley and John Fletcher were close friends of the family. Thomas succeeded his father in his business and also took his place as a City Road trustee.

Greenwood was a correspondent of John Fletcher's widow Mary.
