Ernest Davies Green (1871-1949)

Ernest Davies Green was born in London, the son of a former President of the Wesleyan Conference Dr Walford Green.

He was educated at the Leys School and Cambridge University and was accepted for the Wesleyan ministry in 1899.

Green was a highly regarded circuit minister for forty-five years, culminating in his appointment as Chairman of the Cardiff and Swansea District in 1934.
