Rose Flamanck (1759-1831)

Rose Flamanck of St Austell in Cornwall, was the wife of William Flamanck an acquaintance of John Wesley. She was converted in early life and was a member of the Methodist society for sixty years. Flamanck provided hospitality for visiting preachers and was well-known for her piety and devotion to the Methodist cause.

Her health declined during her last two years and she died on February 15 1831.
