John Cullen (1786-1863)

John Cullen was born at Newark in Lincolnshire and was raised by his devout widowed mother. Converted at an early age, Cullen entered the Wesleyan itinerancy in 1809 and exercised an active circuit ministry until superannuation in 1851. He spent his retirement at Wellingborough in Northamptonshire.
