John Crofts (1798-1857)

John Crofts was converted at the age of seventeen. He entered the Wesleyan ministry in 1820 and served in the West Indies from 1821 to 1834 before failing health forced him to return home.

Crofts served as a circuit minister in the South of England for the remainder of his life. He died at Sandbach in Cheshire after a period of ill health.
