John Wallace Cotton (1801-81)

John Wallace Cotton was born in London and was converted at an early age. He became a local preacher in the City Road Circuit and entered the ministry in 1827. His active circuit ministry lasted for thirty-six years. After his retirement, he settled in Lewisham where he spent the remaining years of his life.
