Thomas Colbeck (1723-79)

Thomas Colbeck was an influential Yorkshire Methodist. A grocer by trade, he devoted his spare time to helping establish Methodism in the Yorkshire/Lancashire border area. He was steward of the important Haworth Circuit for almost thirty years, and was a close friend of the famous Evangelical clergyman William Grimshaw.
