William Bird (1781-1869)

William Bird was born at Stourport, Worcestershire. He was converted at the age of eighteen by the Wesleyan minister Jonathan Edmondson and entered the itinerancy in 1806. His circuit ministry of forty-five years was spent in the midlands and North of England. He spent his superannuation in Bradford and Oldham.
