John Bicknell (1786-1878)

John Bicknell was the son of an early member of the London Society. He was converted at the age of fourteen and entered the Wesleyan ministry in 1812. His active circuit ministry was spent mainly in the South of England.

Bicknell superannuated in 1844 because of a bronchial complaint and spent his retirement in Chelsea, London.
