Jonathan Barker (1763-1839)

Jonathan Barker was born in Manchester. He joined the local Methodist society and after labouring for some time as a local preacher, entered the itinerancy in 1793. His active circuit ministry lasted until superannuation in 1832. His retirement was spent in his native town.
