Joseph Angus Alexander (1878-1970)

Joseph Angus Alexander was born at Hexham. He worked for several years as a bank clerk before training for the Wesleyan ministry at Didsbury College. Alexander served as a missionary in China from 1906 to 1922. On his return to England he worked as a circuit minister until superannuation in 1937.
